Great quality pants! Need a size guide though...
I bought these for my son to play Tball this year. These pants are thick and great quality. I was very pleased from the moment I pulled them out of the box. I wish there was a size guide to order by because I did order the wrong size, but just use a belt which is no problem. Just in case any of you are wondering the same thing. I ordered my 5yr old a size small and they are too big, will probably fit him next season as well if he doesn't stain them too bad this season. I would say that a small is around a size 6. I have to fold the bottom of the pants up under his pant leg quite a bit and he has an elastic sport belt to hold them up which has the pants folded over a bit to get it tight enough. That's nothing wrong with the pants though, that's just a lack of a good sizing guide and at least they are too big which can be worked around.

SIZE COMPARISON IN THIS REVIEW
I am starting to get a collection of baseball pants of all different brands because they end up too small.That is something I risk when buying international.These pants are the BEST QUALITY BY FAR compared to all the other brands I have purchased and am having to re-sell.The Mizuno are so strong, and hanging over the chair look like dress pants of high quality,they're not thin and shiny.My son is 11 yrs old,is 5'5"(165cm)tall and weighs 132 lbs(60kg),and the Xlarge are too small for him.I shall order the xxxlarge and shouldn't go wrong.For now though i'll go to the baseball shop and pay through the nose for a pair for this weekend till the bigger ones arrive.I hope my son's size comparison helps future shoppers.

My son has played on a travel baseball team since he was 7 years old and we have purchased these pants for him yearly.(He is now playing BabeRuth)They really hold up! My son played 3rd base and outfield and they have cleaned up great, even with diving catch grass stains.My other son just started playing Pitching Machine this year and is wearing his brother's pants we bought 7 years ago.They look good/some have a small hole, but he loves wearing his brothers pants! ***Helpful hints for baseball moms ~ soak the baseball pants in dishwasher powder & warm water for 12 hour before washing the pants ~ you will be amazed how clean they look when you take them out of the washer. I usually do not put the pants in the dryer, unless I have to.

You Get What You Pay For
We bought these for our 5 year old for his 1st year in a t-ball league. We had gone to some of the local sporting good stores and found that all the less expensive pants were just really thin. So thin that I had doubts they would last a whole season. I don't have this fear with these pants. They are nice and thick with a little bit of added cushion. Which I'm sure will come in handy when he tries to slide into home....as all 5 year olds will do. Sure, they cost more, but I was willing to shell out the extra bucks.For my 5 year old, 43" tall, 50lb boy I went with a small. They were a little long in the leg, but fit really well overall. I wasn't sure what size to order but thanks to a reviewer posting Mizuno's size chart in their review I received exactly what we needed. beautiful pants!
The pants came in a very timely manner. They were the nicest pair of baseball pants my son has ever owned! They wash tremendously well even though they are white. The padding is comfortable and helpful! I had to find a sizing chart to help me choose intelligently though. Top to learn more

Great Pants for young kids for T-ball
I had searched high and low to find pants small enough for my grandchildren (3 1/2 and 4 1/2) for T-ball. I ordered these in x-small. They fit great. The pants for the 3 1/2 had to be hemmed (done locally for $6) but they fit great and with the wide elastic band waist - no belt is needed. Top to learn more
It's a triple down the 3rd base line
I bought these for my son and he seems to like them alot. They seem to be duable enough as he has slid on them couple times now and has also dived in the outfield for a fly ball (he caught). great product sized wrong
these pants are great quality but beware. i have twin five year old boys who are medium to bigger sized compared to other boys their age. in general at any major clothing store they wear extra small or small sized pants, these are listed as extra small and were way too big. the waist portion was workable with a belt but the length was at least 5" to 6" too long. the make of the pants were such that there could be no hemming them up. i will go to a sporting goods store today! Great product, great fit
I just purchased two pairs of these sliding shorts for my 11-year-old son, who is just under 5 feet tall and weighs about 85 lbs. He finds them extremely comfortable (and he's got sensitive skin). These do not come with a cup, but his other cups fit just fine in the shorts. Additionally, there are no funky lines showing through his baseball pants (which are white, so they might have shown if the fit of either garmet was poor).So far, they wash & dry with no issues. I only wish items like this were a little more value-priced -- it seems crazy to spend $20 apiece on what amounts to underwear, but since my son is in the "Major League" section of Little League, he does slide a lot. So if it prevents road rash and keeps his parts safe, it will be money well spent. Top to learn more
