love these bonnets
This is a must have for baby. I've had several sun hats- this bonnet works so much better than the floppy sun hats. Brim is big and really protects skin and eyes from sun. The brim stands out straight and does not get in baby's face. Cute patterns and reversible so you can find one that goes with everything. I had the 0-6 month old size, and just got the 6-12 for my daughter at 6 months. Love, love, love this hat. My 0-6 one washed well in gentle cycle, needs a little iron afterwards. You will seriously love this hat.

Like it so far, weird smell
Ordered this hat for my newborn, after looking for a while for a hat that will really shade her face for summer. Received the 0-3 month size, my baby is 11-weeks, she is fitting in a lot of 3-6 month size clothing already, this hat is a bit big for her head at this point, although I can use it. It's very cute and looks well-made, and I like the fact that it is handmade in the USA. Love the fabrics used, and it is completely reversible. The reverse pattern is white with a dark brown floral pattern. There is a chin strap which is adjustable with snaps. The one drawback is that when I took it out of the package, it had a very strong manufacturing smell - must have been the inks used to print the fabric. It was quite stinky. I tried it on my baby for about half a minute, just to see if it fit, and her head smelled like the hat for hours. So far, I've only washed it by hand once with Seventh Generation baby laundry soap, and the smell seems to have gone away. I think the design is good,... Top to learn more

Functional and adorable
The bonnet is generally good. The sides and bill shade most of the face. I think the biggest advantage is the design of a flat back. This keeps it from slipping or rubbing off like the more traditional bonnet design does for a newborn that needs constant head support either in a seat or in your arms. The style is pretty and eye-catching which leads to a lot of positive comments. The only thing keeping me from giving it five stars is that the strap doesn't really fit under the baby's chin. On the other hand, the newborn has chubby baby-neck and there's no way a strap could fit under there comfortably anyway, so the straps just dangle at the side. The bonnet stays on very well despite the lack of straps under the chin. Top to learn more
