Great little toy rifle
The rifle is great, very authentic looking. Easy to tell the child to pretend it's real. Therefore to carry it like you would a real gun - pointed at sky, ground or at the target. The kids of all ages had fun with it.One suggested make it more obvious that no caps are included. We had to make a run to town Christmas eve.

Great toy
This is a great toy. Even without caps it makes a good sound. It is still difficult for a 3 1/2 yr old child to squeeze the trigger but mine doesn't mind. It is very light as it is all plastic, so if the kid wants to play inside the house it will not damage wooden floors. It is also small enough that cannot be confused with a real one.Gifted play was very good with costumer service. I ordered it very close to Christmas and it was lost in the mail. We maintained communication through e-mail and they sent a new one quickly, which arrived before Christmas.

Good cap gun
I am typing this on my mom's account, and this my first time writing a review so bear with me. My mom bought this gun for me because I kept bothering her *snicker* and it worked really well except since it's cap rolls being fired sometimes it doesn't fire them. Mine broke because I was using it to nail something into something else and my mom wouldn't let my brother and I use a hammer so I used this. My mom got me a pistol because of this. This is a good gun overall. Remember, if you are going to give this to a little kid GIVE THEM THE HAMMER, NOT THIS GUN TO HAMMER STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty cool, somewhat "realistic" gun
This was a gift for my 8 y.o. son, who disturbingly noted right off the bat that it looked just like a real AK-47 (perhaps he is partaking in top secret government missions at night?).The toy is pretty cool; he seems to love it. It's as realistic as it can be without looking "too real".The "scope" or whatever comes off, which I'm not thrilled about, because no doubt it will end up in some obscure location in the house (under bed, in closet, etc, etc) and I will have to hunt it down to stop the tears. The upside is, it's way too large to end up in the vacuum with all the Legos. Also, the end of the gun (the tip/barrel? Sorry... I'm no gun lingo expert!) seems a little flimsy. One or two solid whacks upside his sister's head and I'm sure that thing has potential to bite the dust.I can't comment on the lights & sounds, as he tore it out of the box without giving me a chance to read the box or directions, so apparently I need to get some... Great toy, very realistic
I bought this toy for a Somali pirate costume party, and it's awesome! It's very realistic, even the size of it is realistic. It has a laser sight! My only complaint is that the sight came loose a bit too easily and I had to stick a bit of cardboard in there to make it hold. Top to learn more

Good prop - not for play
This rifle was part of an Annie Oakley costume, and that is all it would be good for. The costume web site did not offer a Western rifle as an accessory, so I was happy to find this one on Amazon. For some reason I was sent 2 of these rifles about a week apart, but as it turned out, the day I needed to wear the costume I found out one of the rifles was broken in half when I opened that package, so it was good that I had a spare handy. This toy is not durable enough for a kid to play with, and when it breaks, the plastic is very sharp on the edges. Bottom line -good as costume prop, not for play. Top to learn more

There were several companies that had produced rubber toys prior to WWII that stopped producing any toys by the early 1950′s. Although this would have been very late in their production of rubber toys, I believe that there is a high degree of probability that both of these bayonets were produced by the Auburn Rubber Co. . It is hoped that additional information or... It appears that the Auburn Rubber Co. which was located in Auburn, Indiana, is the only company that continued producing rubber toys into the time period in question. During the 1960′s most of the companies that had been producing rubber toys had converted to the use of vinyl materials rather than rubber. Currently Parris is marketing several different toy rifles that carry the Parris name but are being produced in China. Rubber Bayonets and Kadets of America Rubber Bayonets. Although the model No. 11 bolt action was designed to fire corks, there is no evidence to suggest that any of the later bolt action drill rifles had a mechanism to fire BB’s. produced a lever action toy rifle that shot either corks or BB’s. The Daisy Sport Trainer Model 634 was produced from 1966 through 1969 and all of this production had a bayonet lug on the fore arm and carried a rubber bayonet. I have spent considerable time and have made many contacts in the toy field and have found no definitive information relating to the production of rubber bayonets that were used on the Parris Mfg. stopped providing a bayonet with their toy rifles. The Auburn Rubber Co. began utilizing vinyl material about 1954 and by 1957 was primarily using this material for their toy production. It is known that they produced toy rubber knives.
The model 634 uses two metal clips on the bolt face to retain the cartridge instead of a screw through the side of the bolt on the Parris models. There is a short cartridge that retracts into the bolt face when the bolt is closed that is similar in principle to the Parris models. The base of the bolt handle guides the bolt in the receiver and becomes the locking mechanism when the bolt is rotated closed. I suspect that both companies produced the wooden stocks for their toy rifles and assembled them in their respective factories. This approach is more like a modern bolt action rifle. It is uncertain if Daisy or Parris produced the metal parts that were used on their trainers or got them from a sub contractor. The design of the Model 634 is similar in many ways to the Parris Mfg. There are two features on the Daisy 634 that are significantly different from the Parris models.
Heck you can even own the Marine M-41A assault rifle from the Alien (TM) movies – it’s a modifier kit for an M4 airsoft rifle but having this option is still incredible and a real bonus for the airsoft fans who also love sci-fi. The neat thing about airsoft rifles are that you can own just about any rifle or assault rifle you can imagine – from the old Thomson submachinegun to the far more modern H&K G36 special ops assault weapon. Airsoft guns can be purchased in spring, gas and AEG (airsoft electric gun) variants with AEGs offering the highest firing rates and usually the highest pellet velocities. Certain spring powered airsoft rifles can outperform electric airsofts in single shot power however – so bear this in mind when you’re buying your new gun. Airsoft rifles may look like toys to some people but when you pick one up you suddenly realize that they’re anything but toys.
One of the most recommended spring sniper rifles is the Super 9 Bolt Action Airsoft sniper rifle. The spring action sniper rifles are much quieter than the electric automatic rifles. This begins by choosing the Sniper’s most important accessory-the sniper rifle. The spring sniper rifle must be one of the more powerful models in order to shoot from long distances with great accuracy. The goal of the Sniper is to be able to shoot the enemy from long distances, therefore his rifle does not need to be fully automatic or even semi-automatic. The Airsoft Sniper is often referred to as the Lone Wolf or Rouge of Airsoft. A well built spring–action rifle is usually the choice. Understanding the role and choosing the right equipment will help the Airsoft warrior to be well on his way to becoming a Super Sniper. As the sport of Airsoft continues its surge in worldwide popularity, the number of Airsoft teams and clubs continue to climb as well. Dressed in military like fatigues, and armed with replica Airsoft guns, these teams engage in simulated military battles commonly referred to as the Mil-Sim (military simulation).

Armed intruder steals toy gun
Although Airsoft handguns and rifles shoot small plastic pellets and are sold in toy stores, they resemble actual deadly weapons. It is unclear if the Airsoft was in plain view or if the alleged robber had to search for the toy.
A celebration of the sci-fi ray gun
The design of Buck's XZ-35 Rocket Pistol, while not strictly speaking a ray gun, influenced almost every laser pistol, phaser and blaster that followed, and toy versions of the weapon and its variants – the XZ-38 Disintegrator, which arrived in 1939,
