Walking cap
This cap is fabulous! Extremely well made and attractive. Its good quality and pretty warm.
Considering I live in IL, it gets decently cold here during the winter. So I wanted a cap to keep my brain from goin' numb. Well consisting mainly of wool, it does the trick. I guess that viscose is whats lining the inside; keeps me from scratching my head 24/7. (wool is good for that) The elastic band on it is a little bit snug for me, but I have a big head. Also, with it being snug though, it really holds in the warmth and moisture even. It's good quality, warm, and my favorite cap; I recommend it.

I am always skeptical of one size fits all products. For some reason my size doesn't seem to be in that category. This hat fits me ok, but could be a little tighter. So if you have a head size less than 7 1/8, get something fitted because this will be too big.

Better than I expected
After I ordered this hat I had a little remorse as I waited for it to arrive just because I thought I would take one look in the mirror and think it looked stupid. But I'll be damned, this hat looks good on me. I have a big head and those adjustable baseball caps don't ever fit me. Even with my hair cut extremely close, this "one size fits all" hat is a bit tight on me. I'm hoping it will loosen up a bit with time because I like the way it looks.

Love this hat!
I bought this for my husband who for years has talked about how much he loved one he used to have in college. I finally decided to get him one for Christmas, and he absolutely loves it. He didn't take it off all Christmas Day, he was so happy with it! He said it's very well-made; it has a lining that makes it warm so he can wear it in the winter to walk the dog. I wanted to get him a different color & pattern but at the time this was the only style that was available in the size I needed. It looks great on him so I'm glad I ended up with it. There's a hat size chart on this item which is extremely helpful, some of the other ones don't have this. So all in all, it's a great product, very stylish and well worth buying.

MATERIALS NEEDED TO MAKE THIS FLAT CAP / GATSBY HAT :. A. Fabric for hat, that is 60 cm x 60 cm big for pattern details 1 and 2 (pattern shows half of the details 1 and 2 – see for the folding line indications), and twice detail 3 (see picture 1... STEP 6: Now turn the hat inside out and pin together the middle back seam of detail 2 (picture 7), then sew it. Then turn the hat to the facing side and sew along one side of this seam – about 2 mm away from the seam. This pattern is meant for the head’s size 58 cm. If you need it to be smaller – sew it tighter than pattern shows (middle seam of detail 2 and both seams at the back of the hat where detail 2 is joined to detail 1). Then sew along this line all around the hat – from one corner A to the second corner A. STEP 5: Turn the hat to the right side and pin the seam that you just made to the center of the hat (picture 6). One of them contains details 1 and 3, and part of detail 2, while the second page contains continuation of detail 2. See this TUTORIAL FOR MAKING EARFLAPS FOR FLAT CAP / GATSBY HAT. Then sew along the seam of step 4, so that your new sewing line would be on the seam’s side towards the center of the hat, about 2 mm away from previous seam. STEP 4: Put detail 1 and 2 front sides together, so that back side of the fabrics would be outside (picture 2). STEP 1: Use the pattern for hat details 1, 2 and 3 that is in PDF file (Pattern as PDF). Then pin both details 3 together on the line where it will be attached to the hat and sew along this curved line.
