Nice Cap, Cool for Summer, but a bit small.
This is a nicely made cap, quilted burgundy liner, padded sweat band, though I would call it plaid rather than hounds-tooth from the photo. In person, though it seems to be both. The Black, Dark Brown stripes are indeed hounds-tooth, as are the red/orange stripes and perforce, the light brown stripes being the negative space against the other colors. So from far away, to reasonably close up, it is a warm brown/khaki plaid, and at reading distance, it is hounds-tooth, with square of tiny zig-zag black on brown amongst the patterned stripes.Now that THAT is settled, lets deal with the size. I wear an EXACT, LARGE 23" hat, or 58-59 cm (you could look it up, the conversion, I mean). This hat is marked large, 60 CM, and despite that, is rather tight (as in too tight to insert a finger in the band). In my experience hats rarely get larger, and I do not expect to shave my head, so the overall diameter of my head is not going to decrease. So I guess I 'll live with it. A single...

Very Nice Flat Cap
This was my first purchase of a Brixton and I would buy from them again. I've had several Kangols in the past; which are nice, but tend to have a wider brim then I want. This Brixton has a more narrow profile, which I found looked better on me. I ordered a taupe/black in Medium and the sizing was perfect for my 7 1/4 head. The lining is quilted (I've seen others say silk) and is comfortable.I gave it a 4 out 5 for two reasons. First, although it has a narrow profile it does poof out a little on the sides near the brim. Second, the material is 100% cotton. This makes it lighter and cooler in warm weather to wear than wool (such as Kangol), but cotton wrinkles easy and I find wool just looks better. Aside from that I am very happy with my purchase.

Dapper and very comfortable
I purchased this hat to wear out as a more stylish alternative to a baseball cap. It fits the bill perfectly and it couldn't be more comfortable to wear. It compliments just about anything I wear, so it's quickly become my go-to hat when I need a little protection from the sun. I highly recommend this hat!

Great hat for me
I purchased this hat along with another by Brixton. They are well made (in China) and do block cold air from hitting my head. I also enjoy the fact that you can either zip them up in your jacket or fold them up and place them in your pocket. They do not need to retain their shape like a fedora or other type hat. I am buying one for my uncle and one for my Dad. I think they will enjoy them as well. Sizing is good. My head is 22 3/4 inches around and I wore a large.

Love this hat
I got this hat in medium. I'm around a 7 1/4, which is actually what the hat says inside, not medium. The sizing chart says medium will fit up to a 7 3/4, but I'm kind of skeptical of that being possible considering the fairly snug fit on my head. So maybe go bigger if you're at the upper end of medium.Mine came a little wrinkled despite pretty good packaging, and I still haven't managed to get it looking quite the way I want it. But overall it's a great looking hat, and after a few months of fairly regular use has held shape very well.

GREAT HAT, husband loved it
