Funky in the best way

Leaves waffle marks on my 4-month old's head
The hat is made of some sort of nylon-like stretchy string. I thought it would be more cotton-like. My baby's head is in the 50th percentile for a 4 month old, and the hat is too long (tall) but not wide enough. The result is waffle marks on her head and a big wad of hat sticking up off of the top of her head. If I pull it down more and fold up the bottom it makes it even tighter on her head. Maybe if she had hair it wouldn't leave these marks, but the fact that she doesn't have hair is exactly why I like seeing her in a hat. I bought two of these, the white and the emerald green. They look adorable in pictures (even though I have to fold up the bottom), but are not for everyday wear.
