Great Crochet Resource
All of the patterns in this book are crocheted, not knit, so I do not know why the editorial description refers to them as knit. The variety of styles of caps and wraps makes this book a great resource. There are patterns for adult women, of course, but also for babies, men, and children. The focus of the book is to provide comfort for chemotherapy patients, either loved ones or strangers through a charity. That said, you could easily use the items as gifts for healthy people, too. The idea is to keep the patient warm and allow access to a chemotherapy port during treatment.Photography quality is good, showing several views of each piece for reference. Perfect!
I work at a large medical complex that includes a Children's Cancer Center. I have been looking for a book that had hats that the kids would really love and be excited about....not just something to cover their heads. This book has exactly the type of hats that the little ones will love. Plus they are easily adaptable to various sizes. I absolutely love this book.

Product Description
The heartfelt knit designs featured in this collection make thoughtful gifts for friends or relatives whose lives have been affected by cancer. The simple yet stylish caps and wraps are soft and durable enough for everyday wear, and the designs are made using soft worsted- or chunky-weight yarns. The 29 projects include Summer Sorbet Cap & Wrap, Just for Him, Cable Lapghan & Cap, Flower Shawl & Cap, Bitty Baby Wrap & Cap, Infusion Wrap, and Knit-look Poncho & Cap. A portion of the proceeds from each book sold will be donated to Halo’s for Hope, a nonprofit organization benefiting cancer patients.

Chemo Caps and Wraps
As a long time crocheter (but never an expert, preferring very simple stitches) I ordered this book since it had patterns listed in all skill levels. I tried three of the hats marked as easy and managed to get through them. I don't know that I would undertake any of the others, although people with more skill than I may have no problem at all!As for the delivery and quality of the product, I have no complaints.Ruth Nott, author of
